To help you through the car-buying process, our team here at Honda of Slidell, has created this guide to the Honda Pilot configurations. We’ll explore each of them, so you can get a better idea of what you can expect from them!
Honda Pilot LX
This first trim configuration is outfitted with the standard 3.5L i-VTEC® V-6 engine, which churns out 280 horsepower and up to 262 lb-ft of torque.
The LX is outfitted with a 19.5-gallon fuel tank. When paired with the standard 6-speed automatic transmission, this trim level achieves an EPA-estimated 19 MPG city and 27 MPG highway.1
Inside, you’ll find seating for eight. When it’s time to load up, the Honda Pilot has plenty of cargo space, as well. The standard 60/40 split second- and third-row seats give you access to a grand total of 109 cubic feet of cargo space.
Honda Sensing® comes standard on all Pilot configurations. This safety suite features a host of standard technologies that will make you more confident behind the wheel. These technologies include:
- Collision Mitigation Braking System„¢
- Road Departure Mitigation System
- Lane Keeping Assist System
- Adaptive Cruise Control
With safety features like these and the rigid protection of the ACE„¢ body structure, you’ll have greater peace of mind with the Honda Pilot LX.
Honda Pilot EX
The EX builds onto the features offered by the LX. It starts with the added comfort of Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control and heated front seats. Plus, it gives you more support with the 10-way, power-adjustable driver’s seat.
This trim level will also enhance your connectivity. The 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen display acts as your command center. From there, you’ll have access to Apple CarPlay„¢ and Android Auto„¢ integration. On top of that, you’ll get the upgraded entertainment of SiriusXM® Satellite Radio.
The EX will also give you added confidence when cruising down the highway or backing out of a tight parking space. It has a Blind Spot Monitoring System with Cross Traffic Monitor.
Honda Pilot EX-L
This Pilot configuration continues to build on the previous trims. It upgrades the comfort level with the soft touch of leather-trimmed seating and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
The EX-L can better connect you to your back-seat passengers, as well. The CabinTalk„¢ in-car PA system will allow you to communicate with the second and third row effortlessly through headphones.
Honda Pilot Touring
The Touring trim configuration adds to the features offered by the EX-L. It starts with the upgraded responsiveness of the 9-speed automatic transmission, which also provides slightly better fuel economy. It gets an EPA-estimated 20 MPG city and 27 MPG highway.1
It’ll also be much easier to find your way in this Honda Pilot trim level because it comes with the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System„¢. It’ll help you get to your next destination and avoid traffic with Honda HD Digital Traffic.
