HondaTrue Certified: Two Tiers

For the first time ever, Honda Certified Pre-Owned shoppers have a choice between warranty coverage options. The two new options are HondaTrue Certified and HondaTrue Certified+.

The former benefits apply for 2014 and newer model-year vehicles with more than 12 months or 12,000 miles from their original in-service date. Meanwhile, HondaTrue Certified+ benefits apply for 2018 and newer model-year vehicles with less than 12 months or 12,000 miles from the original in-service date.

The two tiers share many of the same benefits. Whichever program you choose, you’ll enjoy a limited powertrain warranty plan with seven years or 100,000 miles of coverage, exactly as the previous Honda CPO program offered. Many engine, transmission, and drivetrain repairs will be covered!

New Benefits of HondaTrue Certified

As we mentioned earlier, HondaTrue Certified adds benefits that take it beyond the previous program. With HondaTrue Certified or HondaTrue Certified+, you’ll have incentives to perform scheduled service in the form of complimentary oil changes.

The programs include two oil changes within 12 months or 12,000 miles of delivery. Have your engine oil serviced at no cost to you and start off on the right foot when it comes to routine maintenance.

HondaTrue Certified has a 12-month/12,000-mile non-powertrain limited warranty, just as the previous CPO program did. However, HondaTrue Certified+ extends the warranty to 24 months and 50,000 miles. You’ll have comprehensive coverage for longer, offering a bit more peace of mind.

Non-Powertrain Roadside Assistance Perks

During the length of the non-powertrain warranty, HondaTrue Certified and HondaTrue Certified+ offer a complimentary suite of roadside assistance benefits. The new package of perks includes:

• Emergency Roadside Assistance
• Towing to Local Honda Dealer
• Emergency Fuel Delivery
• Winch Assistance
• Flat-Tire Change with Spare

That’s just the beginning. Many perks are included, all designed to help you respond to situations on the road. Whether your battery needs a boost, or you’ve been locked out of your car, you’ll get the help you need. A Concierge Service and Trip-Interruption Expense Reimbursement are also included!
